A Business Broker Raleigh Story
I have had may people ask me why I chose to go into business brokerage. To answer that question, I need look no further than my parents. When I was a teenager, my parents stepped out of their comfort zone and became business owners. They became owner /operators of a rest home for the elderly. They worked hard; very hard.
When times got tough for my parents, they had to walk away from their business. They lost all that they had on this business including the prospect of a comfortable retirement. After all the blood, sweat, and tears they expended to help others, they had precious little to show for it. If a trustworthy business broker had come along and helped my parents to sell their business, they might have had at least a little something to show for it.
This very real story is what drives me to want to help others. I know what it is like to work hard to keep a business going. I.ve known the agony of trying to make payroll and hoping their is enough left over to pay the bills. I know what it is like to come in to work when an employee is a no-show. I also know the satisfaction that you have met a need and given good people employment and a decent wage. I take all of these lessons and memories with me whenever I meet with business owners.
I love being a business broker because I get the opportunity to help people. I also get to bolster the local economy by keeping businesses going and making sure their products and services will be available to others for many years to come. It’s not flashy or glamorous buts its good work that contributes to human flourishing. At the end of the day, I can put my head to pillow and sleep knowing I’ve provided for others and my family.
If you or someone that you know needs help, don’t let another day go by without giving me a call. I am the business broker raleigh area folks can count on. Its who I am, its what I do, and I know that it makes my momma proud. 🙂
